Our team will drop-off and pick-up your bins as required. We can even advise on the most suitable location to set them down to avoid access issues or damage to your property. Our standard hire for skip bins is 7 days, however we’re flexible to your needs – we can usually extend this by an extra day or two where required. All waste is taken to our Resource Recovery Centre where we sort materials for recycling, aiming to keep as much waste out of landfill as possible.

Residential / Skip Bins
Our skip bins are ideal for removing waste from smaller construction projects including home building and renovations. They’re also suitable for the general clean-up of homes and business premises. There’s a variety of sizes to choose from with volume indicated in the below table. Depending on the shape and type of materials that require disposal; you may need to hire one with greater capacity.
The Short 6m³ Skip bin is ideal for space restrictions.

Commercial / Hook Bins
Hook bins are suited to larger projects, where the volume of a skip bin won’t suffice – for example high-rise construction, shop fitting and demolition works. Our hook lift trucks can drop these bins off at sites that have suitable access, including a level set-down area and no overhead power lines.

Commercial Crane Bins
Suited to heavy duty commercial use, our Crane Bins are used for larger construction and civil projects – including excavation sites. They’re also ideal for tight access areas where using a truck to drop-off and pick-up bins simply isn’t an option. They’re available in a variety of volumes and can be used to remove heavy waste materials including rebar, scrap metal, gravel and dirt. Please note these are only available to account customers.
Tips for Bin Hire:
When selecting a bin for your job, please consider the following:
- Clear truck access for site placement
- Ensure clear space around the bin for ease of collection
- Be mindful of restricted items: Asbestos, Tyres, Oil, Paint, Chemicals and Food
- For both safety and transport regulations, please only fill the bin to the blue painted rim line on all Suncoast Skip Bins.
